WAR ON THE AMERICAN WORKER

A steady drift toward poverty and homelessness
is what more and more Americans have to look forward to thanks to almost thirty years of Reaganesque Republican Economic policies.

The current economic collapse known as
The "Recession"
is only the latest salvo in the not so secret war
Business is waging against the American worker.

Lower wages, mass layoffs, lost pensions,
and a "stab in the back" mentality are the rule
while jobs slowly have dwindled away.
Corporations have no sense of responsibility
toward their workers. Businesses relocate into foreign nations and then call on these very same people to fight wars to protect the "business" interests of the very same corporations who have cheated them out of a livelihood.

What is wrong with this picture?

CEOs are getting record salaries and bonuses
while the workers are expected to grovel and work harder for less pay.
If they don't, management ratchets up the fear,
pointing to the already legion number of men aimlessly wandering in the cities with packs on their backs during the day, and haunting the streets like zombies at night.
Any dissenters will be out the door with no severence pay.
The out of control destruction of The U.S. Economy
due to corruption and greed has to end now.
This is the "change" we need which surmounts all others
if The United States is ever to return
to "we" the people.
